Here is a release from BU:

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine Knights are ranked No. 1 for the second straight week in the National Media Poll sponsored by D2SIDA and No. 3 in in the first regular season NABC Division II Coaches Poll of the season. Both polls were released Tuesday afternoon.

The top four are the same in both polls: Bellarmine, Tarleton State, California Baptist and West Liberty with Tarleton getting the top nod in the NABC poll.

Bellarmine fans will recognize several teams in the rankings as future opponents. Tops on that list are Friday's opponent, the Midwestern State Mustangs, who check in at No. 5 in the media poll and 11th in the NABC. Occupying the No. 5 spot in the NABC poll is Great Lakes Valley Conference rival Drury, who is seventh in the media poll. Lincoln Memorial, who will visit Bellarmine on Jan. 2, is ranked No. 17 in this week's NABC poll.

Bellarmine is 3-0 on the season with in-region victories over Northwood, Saginaw Valley, and Christian Brothers.

The polls are sponsored by D2SIDA (Division II Sports Information Directors of America) and the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches).
