PIPPA PASSES, Ky. - Union College guard Nick Riley (SR/Hopkinsville, Ky.) led five double-digit scorers with a season-high 30 points, leading the No. 7 Bulldogs to a dominating 94-75 win over Alice Lloyd College in NAIA men's basketball action, Tuesday night.

With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 4-2 on the season, while the Eagles fall to 1-2.

Union raced out to an early 10-2 lead in the contest, highlighted by two three-pointers from J.D. Tucker (SR/Charleston, S.C.). Alice Lloyd battled back and back-to-back baskets from Shane Hall tied the game at 13-13 with 14:00 remaining in the first half.

After trailing for the first time in the first half, the Bulldogs rattled off 14 straight points, taking a 27-15 lead at 10:44 mark in the half.

The rest of the first half belonged to Union as three points from Riley gave the Bulldogs their largest lead of the half at 29 points (50-21) with 3:58 remaining until halftime.

The Eagles closed out the half on a 15-0 run, pulling within 50-36 of the Bulldogs as they raced into the locker room with the upper hand.

In the second half, Union was able to stay ahead by double-digits for the entire period, as the closest Alice Lloyd came to the Bulldog lead in the period was 13 points with 14:03 remaining (65-52). By then, it was too little, too late for the host Eagles, as Union coasted down the stretch to notch a 19-point victory on the road in a game where they only trailed once.

Overall, Riley's 30-point performance came on 12-of-18 shooting from the field, including a perfect 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Adding to his impressive stat line, Riley grabbed seven rebounds and blocked three shots.

Tucker followed Riley with 23 points on 8-of-17 shooting, while collecting a season-high five steals.
