Big Second Half Propels Kentucky Past Arizona State

No. 5 Kentucky overcame a poor first half to put away Arizona State 72-58 Saturday afternoon at Rupp Arena.

Jamal Murray led the Wildcats (9-1) with 17 points, including 12 in the second half. Marcus Lee came off the bench for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. Tyler Ulis had 12 points and 6 assists.
Tra Holder had 15 points and Kodi Justice added 12 for Arizona State (6-3).

Kentucky's Alex Poythress had a scare in the first half when he hyperextended his right knee and had to leave the game. Poythress returned in the second half to contribute 10 points and 6 boards.
The Wildcats will return to action next Saturday against Ohio State at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
