Campbellsville's Dii'jon Allen-Jordan Named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week

Campbellsville University's Dii'jon Allen-Jordan was named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. — Campbellsville's Dii'jon Allen-Jordan continued his recent success this past week and was honored as the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week, officials announced on Monday.

The honor is the first of the career for Allen-Jordan, as he also picked up NCCAA Player of the Week honors this earlier this season.

Allen-Jordan averaged 26 points and 10.7 rebounds this past week in three games. He recorded two double-doubles and narrowly missed a third while helping Campbellsville to wins over Philander Smith College, Asbury University and Truett-McConnell College.

He finished with a new career-high 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against Philander Smith and followed with 21 points and nine rebounds against Asbury.

He closed the week with 28 points and 10 rebounds against Truett-McConnell.

Allen-Jordan leads the Mid-South Conference averaging 9.8 rebounds per game while ranking sixth in the conference in scoring (17 ppg). His eight double-doubles ranks him No. 1 in the country.

Campbellsville will now have eight days off before playing its next game. The Tigers will hit the road before putting their home win-streak on the line with six-straight Mid-South Conference matchups in Powell Athletic Center. CU will travel to Greensboro College to start the New Year on Jan. 1 with tipoff at 1 p.m. ET and then travel to Wilmington College on Jan. 4 with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. Both games will broadcast live on the CU Sports Network, 88.7 The Tiger.
