Kentucky State Men's Basketball Completes Sock Drive for Homeless

The Kentucky State men's basketball team has just wrapped up a successful sock drive for the homeless in the Frankfort area.

Here's a release from KSU:

The Kentucky State men's basketball team recently completed its sock drive to benefit the homeless in the Frankfort Area.

The team collected socks in November and early December, and recently delivered them to Access Soup Kitchen, a homeless shelter in downtown Frankfort. According to representatives from the shelter, socks are one of the most needed items throughout the winter months.

The Kentucky State men's basketball team has worked regularly with Access Soup Kitchen throughout the year, including an October service project in which team members served meals and helped move large quantities of food when the shelter's freezer failed.
