Kentucky Still No. 1; Louisville Moves Into Top 25 Despite Pitino's Concerns About Scandal

Kentucky remains No. 1 this week in both major college basketball polls.

Maryland is No. 2 and Michigan State is No. 3 in both rankings.

The Louisville Cardinals are no in the top 25 in both polls despite concerns expressed by Rick Pitino over the weekend.

During his postgame press conference after Saint Louis, Pitino said this about the top 25:

On why he thinks Louisville isn't ranked: I just think we're just ignored. There's so much talk about other things, they didn't really focus in on basketball, but that's OK. It makes you hungry. Not since 1987 have I coached a group with this type of character as people. Not since 1987, and I've had some really good teams and good guys. These guys have nothing to do with anything. They're all new, and they're fun to coach.
