Here is more from Latinbasket.com:

American Guard Gerald Fitch (191-G-82) had an amazing evening in the last week for second-ranked Quebradillas, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for week 1.

The 33-year old player recorded a triple-double of 21 points adding also 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team beat San German (#10, 0-1) 99-89. Quebradillas is placed at 2nd position in Puerto Rican BSN. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Quebradillas won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next week. Fitch just recently signed at Quebradillas and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Kentucky star has very solid stats this year. Fitch is in league's top in assists (2nd best: 11.0apg).
