"Pissed Off" Morehead State Has Reeled of Three Straight Wins

After Morehead State earned a big win over Eastern Kentucky last Thursday night, head coach Sean Woods admitted that his team was not happy following a disappointing road trip the week before.

"We're really pissed off that we lost both of those games at Tennessee State and Belmont," Woods said after the game.

Since then, the pissed off Eagles have added a huge win over OVC East leader Belmont and a blowout win over St. Catharine College.

Against the Bruins, Brent Arrington scored a team-high 24 points to lead MSU. DeJuan Marrero added 21 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Elechi chipped in 11 points.

In tonight's 105-66 win over NAIA foe St. Catharine College, senior Jared Ravenscraft started and finished with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Ty'Quan Bitting came off the bench to score 12 points. Miguel Dicent added 11.

Suddenly, Morehead State is back in the mix in the OVC East with three games remaining on the schedule. The Eagles will host Tennessee State Thursday and travel to Tennessee Tech and Jacksonville State next week to close out the regular season.
