Kentucky Wins 29th SEC Tournament Championship

Derek Willis and Jamal Murray hit back-to-back three-pointers in overtime to propel the Kentucky Wildcats to an 82-77 win over Texas A&M in the Southeastern Conference Tournament championship game.

Sophomore Tyler Ulis, who was named tournament MVP, led the Wildcats with a career-high 30 points and 5 assists. Murray added 17 points. Willis, Isaiah Briscoe and Alex Poythress each finished with 10 points.

Danuel House led A&M (26-8) with a career-high 32 points. Jalen Jones chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds.

Murray and Ulis were both named to the All-Tournament team.

Kentucky (26-8) has no won the SEC Tournament a record 29 times.

While Kentucky has officially locked up an NCAA Tournament berth, Texas A&M will also make the field as an at large team. Both teams will learn their seeding and destinations at 6:00 p.m. ET during the NCAA Tournament Selection Show.
