A.J. Patty, Chad Culbreath Leave Murray State Via Transfer

Murray State has lost forward A.J. Patty and point guard Chad Culbreath to transfer.

Patty, who played in 18 games last season, has transferred to Division II Minnesota State. He averaged 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game for the Racers in 2015-16.

"A.J. has great length and is very versatile" Minnesota State head coach Matt Margenthaler said. "He has an ability to score around the basket and can step out and shoot it. A.J. will provide great leadership and experience to our team. He's proven that he can be force."

Culbreath announced earlier this year that he is transferring to John A. Logan (JUCO) Community College.

The Racers also recently announced that Kedrick Flomo will not be medically cleared to play college basketball.
