Kedrick Flomo Not Medically Cleared to Play at Murray State University

Sophomore guard Kedrick Flomo will not be medically cleared to play college basketball at Murray State University.

The university will continue to honor his scholarship.

Here's a message from MSU:

Sophomore guard Kedrick Flomo will not be cleared to compete for the Murray State men's basketball team, Murray State's medical team announced after completing a thorough evaluation of his medical condition.  The university will continue to honor the terms of Flomo's athletic scholarship. 
"I know our medical team's top priority is the safety and well-being of Kedrick and I share that priority," stated Head Coach Matt McMahon. "I am sorry for Kedrick but trust their decision. Fortunately, Kedrick will have continued opportunities to excel academically."
