Brescia and Interim Head Coach Brian Skortz Sign 2 for 2016-17

Brescia University and interim head coach Brian Skortz have announced two signings for the 2016-17 season.

Adam Wilkinson, JUCO/Daviess County High School

The Men's Basketball program signed 6'3" Guard Adam Wilkinson to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Bearcats for the 2016-17 season. Wilkinson(Daviess County HS Grad) avg. 8.7ppg and shot 46.8 % from the 3 point line which lead the conference and was 10th nationally. Wilkinson also shot an impressive 85.7% from the charity stripe. " Adam will bring some added shooting ability to the program. The fact that Adam went to the NJCAA DII National Tournment as a freshman along with his team winning the conference ​this past year will prepare him to come in and compete for some playing time. Adam knows what it takes to be successful at a high level." stated Interim Head Men's Basketball Coach Brian Skortz.

Tristen Murray, Warren Central High School

Murray averaged 12.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Dragons last season. He chose Brescia University over Trevecca Nazarene and Bethel University. "We are excited to have Tristen join the Bearcat family. Tristen strengths on the basketball floor is his ability to attack the paint and has a nice pull up mid range jumper. He has good range out to three." stated Brian Skortz Interim Head Men's Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics at Brescia University.
