Pelicans Officially Sign Free Agent Forward Terrence Jones

The New Orleans Pelicans have officially signed former University of Kentucky forward Terrence Jones. 

Jones will be reuniting with former UK big man Anthony Davis.

Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans today announced that the team has signed unrestricted free agent forward Terrence Jones, and re-signed guard Tim Frazier. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Jones, 6-9, 252, has spent his entire professional career with the Houston Rockets after being selected 18th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft out of the University of Kentucky. In 178 career regular season games (106 starts) with the Rockets, Jones has averaged 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 24.1 minutes per contest. Jones has appeared in 25 playoff games (11 starts) in which he averaged 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 23.0 minutes per contest.
