Tanner Johnson, Bryant University Team Unharmed During Earthquake in Italy

Former Lexington Catholic star Tanner Johnson and his Bryant University teammates and coaches were unharmed during a magnitude 6.2 earthquake in Italy Wednesday.

Bryant is in Italy for an exhibition tour.

The school posted this update after the earthquake:

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's basketball team is safe and unharmed following a 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit central Italy early Wednesday.

The Bulldogs' were scheduled to play their first game of the trip Wednesday night in Sploleto but the game has been cancelled due to the damage from the earthquake.

Bryant Athletics extends its thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the earthquake.
