DeMarcus Cousins Earns Exceptional Citizenship Award in Mobile

Former University of Kentucky big man DeMarcus Cousins is doing some incredible work off the court after winning a gold medal with Team USA in Rio.

Cousins was recently awarded the “Exceptional Citizenship” award by the mayor in Mobile, Alabama:

Mobile Mayor Stimpson awarded Cousins the "Exceptional Citizenship" award for helping bring police and young people together to learn skills on and off the court.

Over the weekend, Cousins hosted a basketball clinic and a block party for kids at his alma mater LeFlore High School.

Cousins also sponsored hundreds of kids in Mobile to get free eyeglasses.
