Vanderbilt Announces that Camron Justice is Transferring

Former Kentucky Mr. Basketball Camron Justice is leaving Vanderbilt according to a release from the school.

Here's the release:

Sophomore guard Camron Justice has been granted his release from the Commodore men’s basketball program and has received permission to speak with other NCAA Division I programs, according to Vanderbilt head coach Bryce Drew. Justice will depart Vanderbilt after final exams are completed this week.

“We wish great success in the future for Cam,” said Drew. “He is a terrific young man who we have enjoyed having in our program.”

“To begin, I want to start by saying thanks to Coach Stallings and last year’s coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play at Vanderbilt and in the SEC,” said Justice. “Next, I want to say thanks to Coach Drew and this year’s coaching staff for everything they have done for me up to this point. However, after careful consideration with my family, I have decided it is time to move on from Vanderbilt. It's sad to say I will no longer play for Vanderbilt, but I've made some great memories and friendships that go farther than the game of basketball. From here, I am going to reopen my recruitment and decide the next chapter in my life. Thank you again!”
