Kentucky signee Jon Hood has been named Kentucky's AP Player of the Year. The 6-foot-6 swingman averaged 29.4 points and 12.9 rebounds a game for Madinsonville-North Hopkins this season.
Shelby Valley head coach Jason Booher was selected as the AP Coach of the Year. Booher has led his team to a 30-4 record and a 15th Region Championship.
