Barring Drastic Change, Daniel Orton Will Play for UK

Jerry Tipton of the Lexington Herald-Leader is reporting that Daniel Orton's father has stated that Daniel will remain firm in his commitment to Kentucky unless something "drastic" occurs.

"Daniel is set to go to the University of Kentucky," Larry Orton said. "Unless something drastic changes, he'll still (be playing for Kentucky.)."

My thoughts: I think Daniel Orton is a little nervous about all the change, but will ultimately honor his commitment to the Cats. He has probably given strong consideration to Kansas, but John Calipari is a great recruiter and has likely made Orton begin to feel a little more comfortable. Also, Aldrich is returning to Kansas, which could have an effect on Orton's decision.
