Alice Lloyd College seniors William Dillard and Corey Hairston traveled to Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA for the 2009 WBA Exposure League Free Agent Tryout held April 17-18.
Dillard just finished an outstanding collegiate career for the Eagles. As a four year starter, the native of Beckley WV was selected three times to the KIAC All-Conference Team. This season, as a result of his averages of over 19 points and 5 assists per game, he was chosen by the league’s coaches as the 2009 KIAC Player of the Year. During his career, he tallied just over 1,500 points, and led the team in assists each year.
The 6’3” Hairston, who is also a native of Beckley WV, will take an extremely valuable level of athleticism and talent to the Georgia camp. Hairston, one of the most exciting players to ever don the royal blue and white, was a three year starter. He was twice voted ALC’s defensive player of the year, and is also member of the Alice Lloyd College 1,000 Point Club.
