A pair of ex-Kentucky Wildcats continue to play well in the NBA Summer League.
Jodie Meeks scored over 14 points for the fourth consecutive game and is averaging 16.5 point per game during that stretch. Meeks totalled 16 points on 6-12 shooting tonight against the Bulls.
Joe Crawford put in 10 points for the second straight night for the New York Knicks. Crawford was 4-7 from the field, including 2-3 from long range in the Knicks loss to the Pistons.
Former Louisville Cardinal Earl Clark got off to a good start in his first professional action. Clark worked hard for a double-double in his summer league debut. He scored 13 points on 5-12 shooting and pulled down 12 rebounds in the Suns one-point victory over the Raptors.
Other Notes from Today:
- Juan Palacios (Louisville) did not score in 9 minutes of action for the Bucks
- David Padgett (Louisville) went 3-4 from the field in scoring 8 points for the Trail Blazers; he also pulled down 7 rebounds
