Employees to Gillispie: Go Straight to Shell

New details are emerging after the arrest of former Kentucky head coach Billy Gillispie.

WKYT.com is reporting that Gillispie stopped at a Shell Station on Highway 127 in Anderson County. He was visibly disoriented which prompted Shell Station employees to call 911. Gillispie was almost immediately pulled over and charged with DUI after officers noticed that they smelled alcohol on his breath and he had slurred speech.

Gillispie has returned home to Texas but will be back in Kentucky next month for a court date.

NOTE:
I placed a call to the Shell Station earlier to ask about the incident with Gillispie and was told, "We got no comment."

So, there you have it - don't mess with the Shell Station in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
