The Bellarmine University men's basketball team was outscored 46-32 in the second half en route to a 81-65 loss to Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday night.

Jeremy Kendle led the Knights (4-2, 0-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference), No. 6 in NCAA Division II, with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Luke Sprague and Justin Benedetti rounded out Bellarmine's double-digit scorers with 11 apiece. Braydon Hobbs added nine points and six rebounds.

The Knights shot 61 percent in the first half and led by 11 midway through the half but cooled to 45 percent shooting in the second.

Desmond Stephens hit 7of10 shots and scored 23 for Kentucky Wesleyan (7-1, 1-0), which outrebounded Bellarmine 32-26.
