Partial game recap from Transylvania:
Transylvania freshman Barrett Meyer poured in a career-high 19 points Wednesday, leading five Pioneers in double figures in an 85-71 win over Hanover in Heartland Conference men's college basketball play at the Beck Center.
Transy is 3-3 on the season, 1-0 in HCAC play, while the Panthers are 3-2, 0-1 HCAC.
Blake McCowan had 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists while senior Tim Tierney came off the bench to get 14 points. Matthew Parton and Brandon Rash were also in double digits with 10 apiece.
Reserve Taylor Dial and Mitcheel Meyer led Hanover with 15 points each.
Transy is back in action on Saturday, taking on HCAC rival Bluffton at 4 p.m. at the Beck Center.
