Kentucky Fan Sends a Letter to the NCAA

Here is a letter that a Kentucky fan submitted to the NCAA on Friday:

Dear NCAA:

Enjoy the can of worms you've opened with your pettiness.

Worst wishes,

God love ya, Kentucky. When will you ever learn not to piss off the NCAA? Your arrogance is astounding. See ya real soon!

That is not arrogance, it's called passion. we love our program. Maybe you should find something better to do with your time than spouting off at Kentucky and it's fans. Envy is a bad thing.

It is arrogance pure and simple.

I really believe the only reason the NCAA is targeting Kentucky is that the President of the NCAA was the President of the University of Washington and he still hasn't gotten over the Kanter and Jones situation. Until he's gone, Kentucky and Calipari will continue to be attacked by the NCAA.

Perhaps the letter writer should restrain his anger and find something better to do with his time rather than spouting off about, of all schools, Florida A&M. Damn, talk about passion. The letter writer probably spent countless hours investigating the records of many schools so that he could find this little tidbit concerning Florida A&M. Hilarious! Lay off other schools Kentucky fans and worry about keeping Cal and your own house in order.

Whatever school you go for, you would be crying foul too if it happened to you. So just get back to us when you have the championships that bring you our level of fan support.

All the NCAA wants is for everything to be FAIR - and that my friends will never happen. SO TO BE FAIR we as fans need to point out to their lame claims and show them where others fall short.

For them to admit they don't have enough staff to cover all of their BS Rules is the epitomy of how UNFAIR the NCAA is... If they can't handle the volumes of rules the set out to abide by, I say shut them down.

I'm totally against Federal regulations but it's time someone on the national level starts to investigate these clowns once and for all!

Kind of ironic UK fans call the NCAA petty when so many of those fans seem to take everything people say about UK so personally.

stupid ass fans shaking my head

somebody please give me a Louisville fansite so I can go troll there. anybody know of any?

Florida A&M? What about all the other schools? San Diego St. certainly jumps to mind.

And what about Alcorn State or IUPUI? Are they cooking the record books Kentucky? Gee Wiz!

Check out Jay Bilas's article, he is pretty pis@ed about this and has been listing these schools names.

Leave it to NCAA too have a double standard, afterall it's what they do best. Calipari had nothing to do with rither school on their problem. One was a agent messing with a player, the other was clearing a player too play then a later changing their mind and holding that school responsible for their mistake. If the coach is guilty then ok,but don'T go off half cocked and do what the NCAA did. Why should U. MASS get zapped for what a player and agent did and MEMPHIS for what the NCAA did? We all nkow thw NCAA is a joke. They don't care about the student athlete. It's all about the money.

Anonymous said...

If "it's all about the money" then Kentucky shouldn't have any problems with the NCAA, right?

I say lets get more into this Myron Piggie deal... Coach K himself said" he is ready for outcome"!!! ESPN's and NCAA darling Duke needs to go down NOW.. Big Blue Nation lets fight this crap.

lets be serious for a second... how many years before UK's FF appearance from last year is vacated too??? UK fans are living in Calipari denial and its hysterical to me. waa waa waa Cal is great coach waa waa waa didn't happen while he was at UK waa waa waa this is so unfair!!!!

suckers.

^ OKAY, YOU GOT ME......

Kentucky fans are so ignorant.

Anonymous said...

I don't care which school you cheer for, the NCAA is a JOKE!

Purdue also still lists 19 wins that were vacated by the NCAA after they were caught cheating in the mid-nineties.

They moved a recruit's parent and got them a job, made a fake loan, cash payment, and lied about it.

Fans can justify anything.

Kentucky fans OWN all other fans in college basketball, pure and simple. And your damn right, we'll fight for WHOEVER is behind the wheel here in Camelot 'cause that's just what we do. I love how it pisses all you wannabe's off that we're like that too! How ya like them apples???

Anonymous said...

I think its funny myself how UK fans act over this. I love basketball but I dont get all bent out of shape over things like this. I also dont have to look towards a basketball team for a sense of pride and even self worth for that matter.

Anonymous said...

Who ever said we "have" to gain pride from our team. It's "in addition to" our already great lives. Besides, we live in a land of rolling hills, beautiful women, world class race horses and, oh yeah, the mountain top of college basketball. Of course were proud of our team, why wouldn't we be. haters keep on hating. That just means were doing something right. It's good to be King..

Whoa Whoa Whoa, What's Duke got o do with this? This is a UK issue no need to paint us with the same brush as you fools.

When you are man enough to come play us thn we will talk.

Anonymous said...

We will never play you(Duke),because you want a home and home and we don't want to play in that pathetic thing you call a gym.

Anonymous said...

And for the first poster. We have a great relationship with the NCAA, what we don't have is a current president of the NCAA that is willing to do his job without bringing his emotions into it. In other words, the current president has brought more ridicule to the NCAA in the last few years then all presidents combined. The NCAA as we know it, IMHO, is short lived. To much money involved to have this kind of pettiness running the top spot.

What's this "we" stuff? Do you play or coach at UK? Are you Mitch Barnhart?
