Louisville's Elisha Justice is Transferring to UPIKE

A source close to the University of Louisville men's basketball program has confirmed that sophomore Elisha Justice has notified the coaching staff that he will be transferring.

Justice, who won Mr. Basketball during his career at Shelby Valley High School, will be taking his talents back home to the University of Pikeville.

He averaged 2.4 points and 1.1 assists per game as a freshman and 0.9 points for Louisville's Final Four team in 2011-12.

Pikeville is an NAIA Division I program in the Mid-South Conference. Justice will be eligible to play immediately.

UPIKE had so many good players on the team last year, but no real facilitator, Elisha will provide that. They may make a run for another national title next season.

Justice said he wanted to go somewhere that He could win a championship. Even at UPike he'll have to work to get playing time. Coach Wells always has plenty of talent. He always wanted to be a Wildcat, and when Ky didn't seriously recruit him, he chose Pitino, which now obviously wasn't a good decision.

Calipari did recruit him, but he chose Pitino

UPIKE is good but to say a player coming from a D1 team will have a hard time getting playing time at UPIKE is just stupid... Whether UK recruited him or not, no other player at UPIKE can say they even had the chance to play for pitino at UofL...

UK recruited him for a week.... They didn't offer a scholarship and UL did.... Cal used what's often called "defensive recruiting." He offered to take him away from UL just so he wouldn't go there. It didn't work, but this happens all the time in sports. Good luck to justice!

Elisha's grandfather has cancer and time doesn't look good for him!! He lives right next door to Elisha and they are very, very close!! How rude and obnoxious for people to make such negative comments about something they know nothing about!!!! This is an extremely close family who have always put God first in their lives and then each other!!

May might have been "money" but he didnt have what it took to stick it out at UK or Wake Forest for that matter. He may have had the talent to do so, but he didnt.
