A reliable source says Louisville assistant Richard Pitino will be the new head coach at Florida International.
FIU recently fired former NBA star Isiah Thomas after a disappointing 8-21 season.
NOTE: This has not been officially reported so take it for what it's worth. I'll post an update when I can confirm or deny the report.
UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Richard Pitino will be the new head man at Florida International.
