Terrence Jones to Work Out for the Sacramento Kings


The Sacramento Kings announced today that they will work out former Kentucky star Terrence Jones soon.

Today the Kings announced another group workout, featuring Terrence Jones, a Forward from Kentucky. Jones will be joined by Maalik Wayns (PG, Villanova), Andre Young (PG, Clemson), Kevin Jones (PF, West Virginia), Garrett Stutz (C, Wichita St.), and Mitchell Watt (PF, Buffalo). Of that group of players, only Kevin Jones is expected to be drafted.

Terrence Jones would be considered a reach at 5 but he does seem like a player that the team could fall in love with. Highly skilled, Jones possesses a very well-rounded game and possesses great physical tools. Jones' measurements at the combine are very similar to that of Kansas Power Forward Thomas Robinson. However, Jones plays very differently. Despite having the body of a PF, Jones plays very much like a SF, featuring a well-rounded perimeter game while only being a mediocre rebounder. He is however, an above average defender and shotblocker
