Pairings Announced for 2013 KHSAA Boy's Sweet Sixteen

The drawing was held today and the pairings have been announced for the 2013 KHSAA Boy's Sweet Sixteen Tournament at Rupp Arena.

My first thoughts:

- tough draw for the mountain regions as they'll have to contend with Region 7 (Ballard, Trinity, Male, etc.)

- potentially a good draw for Region 10 (Montgomery County, Bishop Brossart, etc.); great shot to make a run at the semifinals

- could also be a great draw for Region 2 (Hopkinsville, Henderson County, etc.) if they can get past Region 8 (Owen County, Grant County, etc.) in the first game. 

- Region 6 (Bullitt East, Moore, PRP, etc.) could possibly play Region 11 (Madison Central, Henry Clay, Bryan Station, etc.) in the quarterfinal round

- have to think that Region 7 is pretty pleased with their chances of making a run to the finals
