Here is a release from Vermont:

BURLINGTON, Vt. - The University of Vermont Athletic Department has announced that men's basketball sophomore Brandon Hatton will not return to the team for the 2015-16 season.

"I want to thank Brandon for his year here at UVM," head coach John Becker said. "He has decided to pursue other opportunities and we wish him the best."

Hatton played in 31 games during his freshman season for the Catamounts averaging 3.9 points per game. The Independence, Kentucky native shot 31.6 percent from 3-point range in a season that saw him score in double figures four times. He posted a career-high 12 points at Stony Brook to help the Cats erase a 17-point second half deficit to beat the Seawolves.
