Tyshwan Edmondson Signs with London Lightning in NBL Canada

Former University Heights and Austin Peay guard Tyshwan Edmondson will continue his professional career with the London Lightning in NBL Canada.

Edmondson played last season for the Brampton A's in NBL Canada. In 40 games, he averaged 13.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

London Lightning (NBL Canada) added to their roster 26-year old American guard Tyshwan Edmondson (193-79kg-89, college: Austin Peay State, agency: Play2Win). He played last season at Brampton A's (NBL Canada). In 40 games he recorded 13.4ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.6apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in NBL Canada Central Division. They also advanced to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected All-NBL Canada Newcomer of the Year and voted to 2nd Team.

The previous (13-14) season Edmondson was tested by Springfield Armor in D-League.

Two years ago (a year after he left the college) Edmondson was drafted by Texas Legends (D-League) in sixth round (90th overall).
