No. 2 Kentucky Rolls Past Duke in Chicago

Kentucky pulled away from No. 5 Duke early in the second half and never looked back as they No. 2 Wildcats rolled to a 74-63 win over the Blue Devils in the State Farm Champions Classic in Chicago.

Tyler Ulis led the Wildcats (3-0) with 18 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds. Jamal Murray added 16 points and 5 assists. Isaiah Briscoe chipped in 12 points.

Kentucky's big men struggled early, but quickly adjusted and took control of the paint. Marcus Lee finished with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Poythress came off the bench to contribute 9 points and 7 boards.

Duke (2-1) got 16 points and 15 rebounds from Amile Jefferson. Matt Jones added 16 points.

Tonight was Kentucky's first win over Duke in 17 years.

The Wildcats return to action Friday against Wright State at Rupp Arena.
