Georgetown College's Chris Briggs Was a Finalist for The Don Meyer Award

Georgetown College head coach Chris Briggs was a finalist for the The Don Meyer National Coach of the Year Award.

The Don Meyer Award is presented annually to the top coach in NAIA basketball.

Briggs led the Tigers to the national championship game, where they came up just short to Mid-America Christian. Georgetown finished the season with a 32-4 record.

York College's Delton Deal was the recipient of the award.
