Pitino Wants Louisville to Count Two 2016 Scholarships Toward Sanctions

Louisville head coach Rick Pitino said Wednesday that he would like his program to use one or two 2016 scholarships to help satisfy the school's self-imposed punishment for the Katina Powell scandal.

Louisville last month added to the penalties, calling for the loss of one scholarship each from the 2017-18 and 2018-19 classes, as well as a reduction in campus visits.
