Brescia University Signs Noah Cunningham and Jeremy Stewart for 2017-18

Brescia University has signed two new players for the 2017-18 season.

The Bearcats recently added Jeremy Stewart from Jackson Christian (TN) High School and Noah Cunningham from Madisonville North Hopkins High School.

Jeremy Stewart

Jeremy Stewart from Jackson Christian High School in Jackson, TN signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Men's Basketball Program yesterday at Jackson Christian High School. The 6'4" Stewart averaged 13.7ppg and 7.8 rebounds as well as averaged 2 blocks per game during his senior campaign. "We are very excited to add Jeremy to our recruiting class. He is extremely athletic and offensively can attack defenses in different ways. He is a very good defender and brings good length with his 6'7" wingspan and can guard different positions for us. He is an outstanding person with good leadership skills and is a great fit for our program.", added Head Coach Brian Skortz. Steward is the second recruit to sign his national letter of intent with the Bearcats. South Warren High School Senior Dylan Beckham committed to the Bearcats in the Fall and Madisonville North Hopkin High School Senior Noah Cunningham with be signing his National Letter of Intent next week after verbally committing to the Bearcats.

On Thursday Madisonville North Hopkins Senior Guard Noah Cunningham signed his National Letter of Intent to play for the Bearcats. Cunningham a 6'0 combo guard led the Maroons in scoring at 15.2 ppg, made 3pt field goals 70, and free throw made, attempted, and percentage. Cunningham shot an incredible 92.1 ft% that ranks third all time in Kentucky High School Boys Basketball Season FT % history as well as leading the state this year. "We are excited to have Noah part of our basketball family here at Brescia. He is an outstanding person who gets in done in the classroom as well on the basketball floor. His ability to shoot the basketball sticks out, but he has a high IQ of the game and works extremely hard to improve each and every day. He is a great fit for our program!," stated Head Coach Brian Skortz. Cunningham makes the third recruit to officially sign their National Letter of Intent with the Bearcats joining Jackson Christian's Jeremy Stewart and South Warren's Dylan Beckham.
